Is there a program out there that will number the lines so I dont have to count?

if you edit the init.php and class_core.php files on the line numbers indicated and remove the & next to the =, re-save/upload the files, it will work.

What version of vB3 are you running? Only 3.8.5 and up are compatible with PHP 5.3
