Issue when viewing threads on some computers

Today I changed the size of the logo in the header and uploaded a new logo. This is all I have done. Then when viewing threads on some computers, there will be huge empty space on the left of the post and a loading icon on the far left/top with anchor tag saying "click to cancel"

Attached a screen shot of what I am seeing. This is from a normal thread page, the only issue as you can see the huge empty space on the left and the loading icon.

As all I did was the logo size change, I put everything back as it was, but it didn't solve the issue. I changed again to the new logo.

I hope I am being clear and maybe it will happen to someone when viewing a post such as http://www.metuners.com/forums/t1537.html

    Thank you

I am completely lost. I turned off the new youtube mod, turned off the nofollow from vbseo. These are the things that I added over the past week.

Also removed Facebook share button and did a validation test on this http://www.metuners.com/forums/t1265.html
Attached is the validation report without the share button. The errors have been there since the forum was built. The page still has the current issue.

If there is an error somewhere, would it still affect the page that has no errors? (or errors that were proven not to cause the current issue)

any advice on which error might cause the issue?

I am not a programmer and the forum was built by someone else.

      Thank you

If your file extension is .html, then you haven't actually disabled vBSEO as vBulletin files end .php

Also, I see an </a rather than </a> in that report.

I turned off the nofollow feature. I never had an issue until recently and VBseo has been active for few months.

Do you think vbseo might be causing the issue?

I fixed </a. It has been there since the forum was built.

          Thanks

I turned off the linkback stuff from VBseo which removed all the errors, except for the basic ones. Now the only errors are the facebook share button and the h3 tag.

I tried the forum without the facebook share button and still has the problem when viewed on three different Toshiba laptops.

where should I go from now?

            Thanks a lot

It's hard for anyone to give advice when:

                - they can't replicate the issue and
                - you're back to using customised code

To troubleshoot this, first reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version and that none show 'File does not contain expected contents':

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

[Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.]

                Next, disable all plugins.

Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

                define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it.

Do you have the same problem?

sorry Trevor, just saw your post. I was advised to disable the mods one by one as most of the issues come from them. But strange the the mod which was causing the trouble, has been on the website since October.

thanks a lot, and sorry for the trouble.
