Adding a footer background

I am trying to add a footer background, but having no luck with this one.
I managed to add the new background to the header

I just want to add the same to the footer area, but a different Image
Can anyone, put me in the right direction ?

Sadly this isn't a skin I coded or had anything to do with in version 3.x but to try and help point you in the reight direction you should go to Style & Templates > Style Manager > Press GO to the right of the skin and look at

.footernavbot {
background: url(images/totallypro/misc/footernavbot.gif) repeat-x;
border-left: #000 1px solid;
border-right: #000 1px solid;
font-size: 1px;
height: 21px;
}
.footer {
height: 84px;
border-top: #fff 1px solid;
background: url(images/totallypro/misc/footerbg.gif) repeat-x;
}

This is what they said- and it didn't really help me at all- as I tried every thing and nothing !
