How do I make usergroups colored, with the ability of putting a link (image) infront of it?

You use the HTML Markup function to do that:
Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit Usergroup -> Username HTML Markup

You need to enter html into those fields. Bbcode is not valid. So:
<img src="image.jpg" alt="" />
