Only accounts with verified email adresses in the new registrations moderation queue?

My super moderators moderate all new registrations on my site, because after some testing it turned out that it actually saved work to moderate about 100 registrations per day.

Until now I used vmail, an addon that lets new users confirm their email before they get an account.

I do not want my staff to review accounts, that have unconfirmed email addresses. Because that would triple the workload.

Is there any possibility within vbulletin to only show accounts with confirmed email addresses in the new registrations moderation queue? If so then this would allow me to uninstall vmail.

As far as I'm aware, they only go into the Moderation queue when they've confirmed their address - until then, they're in the Awaiting Confirmation usergroup?

Its impossible for non administrators to review/approve accounts.

Like many vbulletin webmasters Im the only admin on my site. There are way too many things in vbulleitn that can only be done by admins. This is one of them. So I had this function coded.


It would be very nice if 'Users Awaiting Confirmation' have already confirmed their email account.

The users in the 'Users Awaiting Confirmation' usergroups are users that are in the new registrations moderation queue.
The users in the 'Users Awaiting Email Confirmation' usergroup, are users that need to confirm their account.

Can anyone say for certain if 'Users Awaiting Confirmation' have already confirmed their email account?

But then they wouldnt be "Users Awaiting Confirmation" anymore - That group is users who have not confirmed their e-mail account.

Paul is correct, though remember modifications to the default software can cause things to not work as expected.

Yes, I know. But its simply impossible to work with new member moderation, if only administrators can moderate. Its too much work for one admin (myself). And the way vbulletin admin permissions are set up, poses unacceptable risks, so adding more admins is not an option.
