Please note that it is against the rules to solicit paid services on these forums:

    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/misc.php?do=showrules

You can try posting in the 'Requests for Paid Services' forum at vbulletin.org for help with this:

I can't find anything that did this either I'm afraid. Have you posted over at vb.org for assistance with this?

    External Data Provider Woes

So with how the external.php file is written the content of articles in the feed is updated if the thread is edited. This is all well and good except that when the feed updates an article because it was edited some feed readers like Google Reader re-post that article for their user.

This creates an issue where someone will have 2+ nearly identical entries from our feed showing up in google reader.

I recently had found a fix on this site or vbulletin.org where i edited a couple lines in external.php and the problem was entirely sorted.

Unfortunately i accidentally overwrote the edited external.php at some point and now am completely unable to find the solution again.

Can anyone tell me what i need to edit in external.php so that the feed items are not updated when the original is edited?

    Thanks for any help
