    Create a new style with no parent:
    • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
    • Parent Style: No Parent Style
    • Title: Default vBulletin
    • Allow User Selection: Yes
    • Save

    Set it as your default in vboptions > styles > default style and then login to the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

    Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

        So, using a default style allows you to login, but now you can't reply? Check Usergroup Manager > find your usergroup > check Post / Thread Permissions Then check Forum & Moderators > Forum Permissions > check forums and usergroups for Post / Thread Permissions And lastly, check Forum Manager > edit forum > make sure Act As Forum is set to Yes, as is Forum is Active and Forum is Open.

            You checked all the usergroup settings and they are fine? And the forum permissions settings and they are fine? The next step then is to still keep your default style, but also disable your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
            Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

            PHP Code:
            define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);

                This is probably a cookie domain/path issue. To fix this, upload the tools.php script in the 'do_not_upload' folder of the vB zip file to your Admin CP directory and run it from your browser. Use this to reset the cookie domain and path back to the defaults. And then leave your cookie domain and path at the default settings. There is no reason to change these. If you need to specify a unique cookie, use the cookie prefix setting in config.php instead.

                Otherwise this has to be due to a modification.

                  You you allow users to view your site via both www.yoursite.com and just yoursite.com? If so, you need to have your cookie domain (vboptions > cookies > cookie domain) set to ".yoursite.com" (no quotes, but note the period at the beginning).
