  • Huge problem in Making Forum Duplicate onto another database...

    ... Hi Guys,

I rent a shared server for my forum. Up until now, the host had been helpful.

I can only upload a .sql upto a maximum of 50MB, the carbon copy of my live forum is 475MB, and as such, my host is refusing to upload it for me.

This is for s "Test" forum.

However, one of his staff did do it about two - three weeks ago (I had a problem when I upgraded the test forum, with clashing templates, and the only way that I could sort it was to delete the contents of the test forum).

Is there any way that I could do this please? I am still pretty new to all of this, and would appreciate your help.

    Many Thanks,
    Welshy.

Maybe you can use MySQLDumper? There you can split your SQL file and download upload small packages
