  • How can I remove Google's cache of all of my threads in my forum?

I'm not wanting to remove Google's indexing of the threads in my forum - just their cache.

I have a lot of images in my threads that I want people to have to come to my forum in order to see them.

I know how to remove the cache of individual threads using Google's webmaster tools. But what folder can I tell Google to delete the cache from?

And what is the proper meta tag to use for all robots to index the threads but not cache them?

    Thanks

you can easily prevent Google from indexing your pictures by placing the following code into your blog’s header file above the < /head > tag (in VB's case put it in your header):
    <meta name="robots" content="noimageindex">
Also you can add to your robots.txt file:
    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /images/
    Kind regards,

Now I want to remove the cache for all of my threads.

I need to know what file folder or file would include all of the threads.

      Thanks again.

Why would you want to do that? do you not want any traffic to your site?
        Kind regards,

I'm just wanting the cached threads and stuff removed. I want the index to remain in Google.

I know how to just remove everything.

All you can do is wait for it to expire really, im not aware of anyway to ask google to not cache your content.

I can request Google to delete the cache from individual pages in Google's webmaster tools. I was just wondering if all of the pages of threads were in one file folder so that I could use Google's webmaster tools to delete their cache of that entire folder.

The threads are in your database. Everything about them is.. there's no "files" that you can delete to remove them.
