embeding question--what am I missing?

Ok I am going nuts and don't understand what I am missing.

I am fully aware of using BB code to embed videos but that doesn't give me eactly what I want. I have also looked into the AME hack and it still is lacking what I want.

So the wuestion lies what am I am doing wrong to not be able to embed a video using the embed code?

When I post the code of course it only shows the code. I have tried to set html on with no change.

This is driving me nuts..

It works just fine on my 3.8 test board. Make sure when you enter it, you are not in WYSIWYG mode because it will then add bbcode for the urls in there.
