  • cPanel password changed. which file should I update for vBulletin?

    Hello there.

    I had to update password for my cPanel. I believe I will need to update vBulletin's settings somewhere so vBulletin picks up the new password..

    I looked in /includes/config.php and found this string below
    $config['MasterServer']['password'] = 'SOMECODEHERE';
    The password in the string is not my old password.. maybe encrypted..?

    Am I supposed to hardcode my new password there..? or is there somewhere I can update my password?

    Cheers.

    Changing Cpanel's password has nothing to do with vB's password.
    Do not change anything in config.php.

    vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...
