Although there are ways of searching through the URL such as Jakes method, and numerous hacks/coding to show the Top Poster, I rather not start messing up the forum I administer adding a hack knowing I'll probably mess things up. So is there a way to search for Top Poster in a particular forum via the URL.

Go to member list, change per page to say 5, change sort to post
then you get a list of top 5 users who have the most posts.

Thanks Floris, that actually helps for something else I was looking for, but in this case I was wondering if the query=searchword of "forumchoice[]=X" can be used to find the top posters of a particular forum/subforum.
For example...
Code:http://www.yoursite.com/forum/memberlist.php?order=desc&sort=posts&pp=5&forumchoice[]=100
