Social groups - disabling their thumbnails

If I remember correctly, there is an option in the AdminCP to disable the thumbnails for socail groups. I have done this on my forum, but they aren't disabled for the user profile pages. It doesn't show the thumbnail itself, but one of those boxes with a red cross inside where the image should be.

Do you mean this image /forum/images/misc/unknown_sg.gif ? It is shown in the social groups but not in profile pages?
