  • Switching Host need help

I'm currently using 1&1 but they only allowed a max of 100MB per MySQL Database and we just went over that. Where should I switch too? It's not that big of a site, took us 6 months to use that 100MB. Also what's a way to clean up some space on the database? Cause it's probably going to take a week or two to switch to a new host. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry if this is the wrong section.

Probably the attachments are stored in the database that's why is it growing so fast.
Transfer them to the file system.

vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

Could be that, but it doesn't mean that it is... Depends more on the content of the posts/number of said posts.

If 1&1 is working for you, possibly an upgrade. If you're looking for a cheap and easy solution, http://www.hostso.com & if you're looking for a more comprehensive solution, http://www.mediatemple.net
