Need help with a template conditional

I have a bit of code that I need to display on all pages except forumdisplay. Would somebody mind replying with the code I'd need to use before and after as the conditional?

Wait! It didn't work.. Could that possibly be a vb4 conditional? Here's how I'm using it:

<vb:if condition="THIS_SCRIPT != forumdisplay">
<if condition="$bbuserinfo['usergroupid'] == 1">
STUFF
</if></vb:if>

Okay, I took out the vb: and it worked.

Sorry about that, didn't see the 3.8 area, yues removing the vb: stuff should work
