    I have enabled mod rewrite:

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.domain\.com
    RewriteRule (.*) http://www.domain.com/forum/$1 [L,R=301]

I dont think so... this is what I have:

    # Comment the following line (add '#' at the beginning)
    # to disable mod_rewrite functions.
    # Please note: you still need to disable the hack in
    # the vBSEO control panel to stop url rewrites.
    RewriteEngine On

    # Some servers require the Rewritebase directive to be
    # enabled (remove '#' at the beginning to activate)
    # Please note: when enabled, you must include the path
    # to your root vB folder (i.e. RewriteBase /forums/)
    #RewriteBase /

    #RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.yourdomain\.com
    #RewriteRule (.*) http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/$1 [L,R=301]

    RewriteRule ^((urllist|sitemap_).*\.(xml|txt)(\.gz)?)$ vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_getsitemap.php?sitemap=$1 [L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(admincp/|modcp/|cron|vbseo_sitemap)
    RewriteRule ^((archive/)?(.*\.php(/.*)?))$ vbseo.php [L,QSA]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !/(admincp|modcp|clientscript|cpstyles|images)/
    RewriteRule ^(.+)$ vbseo.php [L,QSA]

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule ^((urllist|sitemap).*\.(xml|txt)(\.gz)?)$ vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_getsitemap.php?sitemap=$1 [L]

Check your htaccess - is there anything regarding Cache-Control and/or ExpiresActive?

Thank you for replying... Actually, when i go to www.newdomain.com/forum/ and try to log in, it gives me message 'logged in' but redirects to the front page and shows me not logged in. When i refresh the page, I show up as logged in...

    Sorry for the confusion...

I'm not sure I understand.... if you go straight to the page http://www.domain.com/forum, then you can login fine. However, if you go to your old site and it redirects you to http://www.domain.com/forum and then you try to login, it doesn't work?

    [Help] Weird Cookie Issue

    Hey Guys,

    I really need your help.

Today I have moved my forum from one domain to another. Forum is installed in the sub directory of the domain like so: http://www.domain.com/forum

I have reset cookies and path to .domain.com and path to save cookies to '/forum/'.

I have created an index.php to redirect my old forum URL to my new one. When redirected from my old forum, I cannot log in. Technically i log in, but it does not display my user name. However, when I hit 'refresh' in browser, I appear as logged in. It also kicks me out of being logged in pretty fast (settings are 900)...

Any suggestions as to why this happens?

    Thanks!
