Limit unsubscribed members posts ?

Is it posible to limit the number of posts unsubscribed users can post before they then have to subscribe to the forum ?

We'd like to give them say 1000 posts before they have to pay their membership fee.

You can use the Promotions system to move them to a different usergroup with different permissions after the 1,000 posts. For more information, see here:

No i want to lock them out so to speak, make it so they cant post again until they subscribe.

The promotion can move them to a group with no permissions...
