Question box on sign up

How do I make so, when I moderate new users, there's a box for them to fill out? So I can ask, for instance, 'how did you first become a fan of Douglas Adams?' and they can write a sentence or two in reply so I know they are more likely to be genuine fans if they enter something meaningful, in context, instead of just 'propecia' or whatever..

You can create a Custom Profile Field and make it Mandatory here:

AdminCP > User Profile Fields > Add New User Profile Field
