forumbit logo/banner/icon/image - shows in chrome but not IE or Fire Fox

I added some code to my forumhome_forumbit_level1_post template (a child template).

</if><if condition="in_array($forum['forumid'], array(71))"> <img src="/forum/images/forum_pics/forum71.gif"></if>

The images show up in Google Chrome but not in Fire Fox or IE. I have tried the full path too and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Have you tried dropping '/forum' from the link?

If you're in the forum directory already then that link will read - www.washingtonguntrader.com/forum/forum/images/forum_pics/forum71.gif

I tried taking out the 'forum' and it doesn't work.

I tried taking out any <if> statements and just putting in an image link and it doesn't even show up? I applied a child style to the forums with the changes. So it seems like the child link is not working with FF or IE. Now when I changed the main template style, it worked. Any thoughts why FF or IE are not taking the child style?
