How to put images next to text of Sub Forum names

I don’t need this feature for the forum main page , but when some on clicks inside I wanted to post relevant images for sub forum names preferably next to the right of the text or may be below the text , I have seen people doing it on the main forum page a feel it can be done on the sun forum level as well , please guide me

AdminCP > Forums & Moderators > Forum Manager > Title

You can add HTML into that field so can add that way however this will throw up two issues:

1. The images won't line up like you're initial post and
2. The title of each forum in the browser 'top bar' won't parse the html and will show it as plain text

Alternatively, you can take a look at this thread which will put the images ahead of the forum names. It's for an older version so you may need to adapt accordingly:

Actually both did not help
First option makes the Image display on the main forum , i need it to be displayed only in the sub forum
and the second option is complicated and also does not serve what i need images at sub forum level i have seen it somewhere i dont recollect so i definitely know it can be done

If it's not working through the default method then it most likely will have used a modification from over at www.vbulletin.org

This is what I want but as you said it's for the 3.*.* version of vB, how to make that work in vB4? Any help would be great, thanks.

I tried following the thread and it shows up in Google Chrome but NOT in IE or Firefox. Any thoughts?
