  • I accidentally errased by header

While working on my header, I checked "revert" and then saved my header in the common templates. And that reverted me back to the standard vBulletin header.

Where in my prior backups is the header located so that I can just copy my custom header back into my forum?

I'd like to be able to do that instead of having to rewrite the entire thing.

    Thanks,

    John

I don't understand what you mean by " I checked "revert" and then saved my header in the common templates". Once you hit revert, it reverts to the default vbulletin template.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

Well, that is what it did. It reverted to the default vBulletin Template. And I did that by accident.

What had happened was I made a newer change to my custom header that I didn't like. And not thinking clearly, I hit revert, thinking it would revert back to the previous custom header. But of course it reverted to the default vBulletin Template. Well, that is how I got into the fix.

I was wondering where in one of my vBulletin backups would I find the script for the header. That way I could copy it and paste it back into my vBulletin admin area.
