View Single Post (Not in new window?)

Where is the option to make it so when you view a single post it just scrolls down to the post instead of showing it by itself.. I can't remember, but I could almost swear I saw it before

You click on the number of the post (ie, for my post, you click #2 in the top right hand corner of the post) and then it will take you there.

What I want... is for when I click the number on my forums post... for it to do what VB.com's does and take you to the post in the same window. Not single. My forums opens the single post in a new window.

Look at the postbit template and remove the "target=_blank" for those links.

Hmm I checked postbit and postbit legacy but neither had "target=_blank"

I don't think it's a 3.x option.

In 4.x there is no showpost anymore, that's why clicking the link scrolls to it in the thread.
