What is the advantage to paying the $170.00 to have this removed from the footer? Why would I want to do this? Any advantages?

Some people prefer their sites not to have other company's names and links on it. Personally I don't care as long as it works.

Do they remove it or it's something you pay for and then you have to remove it yourself?

To be honest, no idea. Not sure whether it gives you the right or whether there's a licence free version... They certainly don't remove it for you as such.

I found the directions in the manual it is like 5 or 6 steps and I removed it from my forum and beleive me if I can do it anyone can.
