Re-Setting Thread and Post Counters?

I have been deleting and/or merging forums, threads and posts and I am wondering, now that I've done that, do I need to re-set any counters to make sure that the board in in Sync?

It won't harm anything leaving them as they are. If you update the counters, especially after deleting posts/threads, you may find your users complain when it says that they've not posted as much as they have... lol
