Unless you purchase Branding Removal you're not allowed to remove the "Powered by vBulletin" (in title or in footer).

As far as changing the meta description, keywords, that's in:

ACP > vBulletin Options > General Settings

I'm tring to remove "powered by vbulletin" in the title of my site, and I am allowed to do that, I've read other threads about this subject. Other people like me we're trying to remove it too, and they succeed. And I am doing the same thing and I don't get any results. I'm asking if anyone knows why.

And yes, I did go at ACP>vbulletin options>general settings>meta description... and NOTHING (

      Please help!

Go to admincp > languages and phrases > search in phrases

check 'variable name only' and type in 'x_powered_by_vbulletin', then hit search

Then edit this phrase and replace the entire contents with '{1}'.

        That should do the trick!

And another question: the change is seen automatically by Google? Or after some time?

The {1} represents your forum title as configured in vBulletin options, so if that doesn't contain what you want, you won't get the desired results.

Also, make sure the above phrase is being used in your header- it's possible that you or someone else may have changed it to something different.

The change is instant, but it likely won't be updated on google until the next time it indexes that page (and the interval at which that happens depends on your site popularity).

No that doesn't work - at least not in my experience. Here's the exact instructions I followed that worked upon first attempt:

How to Remove the "- Powered by vBulletin" in page title tags

Go to your ADMINCP> Language & Phrases> Search in Phrases

In your Phrases Search for: x_powered_by_vbulletin (be sure to choose to search by Phrase Text and Phrase Variable Name)

Edit the phrase. Simply change it from {1} - Powered by vBulletin

                  to {1} - (Your Choice

                  SO your just deleting - Powered by vBulletin if you just leave it with {1}

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean.

My problem is that when I search my site on Google, it appears this:

And I want "powerd by vbulletin" gone and the description changed. How do I do this?
