    Urgent - clean install allows users to use HTML by default !!??

    Please Help.
    All users in the forum can use HTML even though by default all users & forums have NO permissions to use 'Allow HTML'... clean & new install (vBulletin 3.8.4 Patch Level 1)!!!
    How is this possible?

    Being allowed to use html is only a forum permission, not a usergroup permission at all. Did you make sure "Allow HTML" is set to No under each forum in the Forum Manager?

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

        Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
        Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

        PHP Code:
        define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);
        Don't forget that for vbseo, disabling the modification means to also get rid of anything extra you added to your htaccess file.

          Sorry...support has answered me that it was BB code and there is nothing to worry about.
          Thanks!
