Hello, this may be a stupid question, but... I noticed that when I log in to my vbulletin forum with one of my accounts (junior member), and I post a reply to a thread, the smilies aren't available to add to a message (available to add in the title, but not in the message body). When I log in with my Super Moderator account to the forum, I CAN add smilies when posting a reply to other people's threads. Is this cause of the Junior member, Super Moderator ranking? Does a Junior member need to become a Senior member or something to be able to add smilies when posting a reply to a thread? Smilies are available to all when creating a thread. Why is this? Is this a bug? Or an option I can change in the admin panel? Thanks for the info.

You probably have different settings in the actual accounts themselves. Under the usercp in edit options check what setting you have under the Message Editor Interface option. If it's on basic editor you won't see the smilies but if you make the smilie image you will see it in the post. Change the setting to the enhanced or standard editor if you want to see the smilie box.

I added some more smiles to the Generic Smilies Catagory via AdminCP > Smilies > Add New Smilie but they do not display in the advanced post editor.
