    Problems with Optimize/Repair Database...

No matter whether I choose Optimize or Repair (or both)....it says "Please Wait..." and never does anything....i have let it go for as long as an hour.....but my database is less than 20MB in size.....

Abotu 3 weeks ago, was the last time I ran it and it ran successfully. I am on the same version (3.8 latest) as I was then....and have not installed anything but a couple of mods....I am not getting any errors and do not know how to fix this issue....

Any help would be appreciated. If any more information is needed, please let me know and I'll get it.

    Thanks in advance.

You'll need to consult your host on this. If it isn't working you may need to run these commands via the command line.

If you have command line access, you may want to take a look at this thread - 3 ways to repair a database

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Do you get this also through phpMyAdmin?
        Vote for:

        - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
        - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)

Are you using phpmyadmin inside of your webhosts control panel?

Yes....I have a "reseller" account and host multiple sites (been with the same host for the last year or two)....but the phpmyadmin I use is from within the CPanel for the domain.

The php running in a cpanel/ensim/plesk control panel is generally different and has less restrictions placed on it then your php running on the live webserver.
