Alert on New Userfierld

Hi!
I got vbulletin 3.8 and I added a new userfield:

Name: Ubicacion
Type:Single-Selection Menu
Attributes: Required, Editable, Searchable, Members List

The thing is that when a user logs in to the forum the forum doesnt force the user to fill it.
I disabled hooks and same happens.
How can I foce a user to fill that field?

For Field Required, did you select Yes, Always?

Yes Always, will make the field mandatory at registration, and force your current members to fill it out.

I made a brand new instalatin at home and same thing happens, I create a required user field, i select YES ALWAYS or the other YES and it will not alert the users to fill out that field :S
