Removing Last Post, Threads and Views from Forum index

What would be envolved to remove the Last post, Threads and views columns from the forum index? I want to remove everything and I want the listing of sub-forums to take up the entire width of the page. This would mean the removal of the latest post with the buttons and the icons. Also includes the removal of the number which answers either number of threads or number of views.
