Adding text to the footer?

Hiya!

Ok so my technical skills are definitely improving! I'd like to add some text to the footer that says something along the lines of "copyright myforum.com" and maybe a small disclaimer. I've managed to find the "footer" section in my forum's template - I clicked edit and had a look but not really sure where I should enter the text or what the code should be - has anyone done this before or does anyone know what I need to do?

In the footer template, find:

    <div class="smallfont" align="center">
    <!-- Do not remove this copyright notice -->
    $vbphrase[powered_by_vbulletin]
    <!-- Do not remove this copyright notice -->
    </div>

Depending on where you want teh text to show, above or below it, add:

    <div class="smallfont" align="center">
TEXT HERE
    </div>

If you want an extra space in between the two, add "<p>" in between them.

There's an option in the control panel - vbulletin options>> vbulletin options>> sightname/URL/ contact details, then scroll down the page to copyright text and insert whatever you want here, it appears under the VB copyright and is much easier than editing the templates, have a look at mine for an example
