  • admin cp loading slowly

I'm not sure what is going on but my control panel is loading very slowly. Also, it is taking minutes for options on the left hand side of the control panel to come up. My control panel address is http://www.forumname.com/forumnamedi...incp/index.php rather than just http://www.forumname.com/admincp/index.php I don't know how I got that directory in there but I was wondering if that is slowing down the loading of the pages. Are any other users having problems like this?

My AdminCP follows the same format-many do. No problems here.

You might want to dismiss the messages that vBulletin has pushed to your admincp, and address out of date templates. This may be part of your issue. Also, the route between your host and vBulletin may be suffering some lag. I believe that when the admincp is loaded, it contacts vBulletin to check-in for new messages/important announcements.

      Worthless hosting

I've discovered the problem, my hosting company is completely worthless with vBulletin. I should have done some more reading on here first before wasting my time with them. Thanks
