First off, vb attachments seem to be working just fine. The problem I'm having is with my add-ons, which I know won't be supported here - I have those developers looking into it too. But I'm noticing that the add-ons which store attachments are having trouble creating thumbnails. Specifically, the uploaded image files are being stored with CHMOD permissions of 600.
Now, I'm not asking for help with the add-ons, I'm simply hoping to find out if this is something vb is forcing, or if maybe the server could be doing it. The directories these files are being stored in are set to 777. And if I go in and set all files in those directories to 777, the thumbnails show up. But all new uploaded files get set to 600. Is there a config setting in vb or coding that makes this happen and would override other vb add-ons? This only just became a problem when I upgraded from 3.6.8 to 3.8.4.
Thanks in advance for any help.
