  • Being adsense compliant

I understand if you have adsense on your forum, you need to have a privacy policy, yes?

Currently, I have adsense setup but realise I have no privacy policy on the forum itself, although it is on the main site.

How can I add this policy?

    Thanks,

    Jon

I do not use the adsense by vBulletin .zip so I am not sure, but since IB/Jelsoft and Google work together and offer a vBulletin that's adsense ready (see announcements and members' area) perhaps it therefor is fair to assume it's compliant and includes the privacy policies that Google require.

I would just like an add-on that does not alter my existing placements. Anyone know of anything out there?

Go into vBulletin Options -> vBulletin Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details. Scroll down to where it says "Privacy Statement URL". Put the URL to your site's existing policy. Save at the bottom.

You shouldn't have to do anything with your actual ad placements.

Easy when you know how. Thanks Wayne!

Would this statement be ok for privacy or do you need something extra with vbulletin?
