Forums disappear during upgrade or changes in admin area

Hello

I have one unusual problem with my vbulletin.Everytime when I change something in my admin area or try to upgrade vbulletin to newer version 7-8 of my forums just disappear.Currently I am using vb 3.8.1
Do you have any information about this kind of problem and possible fix?

DO you mean the pages are blank?

If so, yes, there is a lot of information on blank pages.

1. You did not upload the vB files correctly. Reupload the vB non-image files and make sure you upload these in ASCII format and that you overwrite the ones on the server.

Not exactly,only few of my boards disappear.I have somewhere 30-32 boards and after upgrade I have only 23.I think that something is damaging the database.This happen only when I am in admin panel,change something and hit save.After save boards disappear,same problem occur while I am upgrading.I have backup of my DB so I tried few times and this is the conclusion of whole excercise.

Can you tell me which tables in database are responsible for the users and forums ? If I have I will copy only them and restore after upgrade .... I still face serious problems
