How to change member info to side and font color changes.

Long winded title but I just need some help on a couple of things.
1> How do I change over to having the member info to being on the left side of a post?
2> I want to change the text color in a post. I can makes changes to the CSS but it changes too much with it. How would I go about changing just the posted message text color?

Thanks. Figures the legacy would be a global command and change all the themes. I just want to do one theme. And as for the colors, the manual doesn't go in to enough detail.

1. If you just want it for one style, then if you are usually using the postbit template, just copy the postbit_legacy template into the postbit template for that one style.

2. Add the css inline for the $post[message] in the postbit (or postbit_legacy) template.
