There is no thread copy feature that I know of.

Then what is Thread Tools > Copy Thread for?

Currently a new attachment with a new attachment number will be created.

In v4.0 this will be fixed so that only one instance of any unique image will be stored, in addition the same attachment number would be used.

Oops.

I was looking at the inline moderation options for threads. And I have actually never used Copy Thread before.
