  • Centralising logo

    Hello, (Please ignore my existing thread ~ trial and error proved to sort that)

    I have got my logo on my forum skin now, you can check it here;
    www.people-exchange.co.uk/forum

    As you can see its sitting far left, i really want to get that central but looking at the codeing i cant see anything which would give it away such as spaceing in other parts.

    Here is my header code (logo part only)

    <!-- logo -->
    <a name="top"></a>
    <table width="80%" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="wrapper">
    <tr>
    <td class="headerwrap"><table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="48" cellpadding="0">
    <tr>
    <td class="logowrap"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]"><img src="http://www.people-exchange.co.uk/forumlogo2.PNG" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" width="500" height="180"></a></td>
    <td valign="top">&nbsp;</td>
    </tr>
    </table></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td class="navwrap">

    Can anyone help simply central the logo?

    Thanks

    In order to center the logo, you need to edit the vBulletin header template:

    Go to the AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Common Templates (from drop menu next to style name).

    The first portion of the header template is what you need to edit.

    Find this:
    HTML Code:
    <!-- logo -->
    <a name="top"></a>
    <table border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">
    <tr>
        <td align="$stylevar[left]"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php?$session[sessionurl]"><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a></td>
        <td align="$stylevar[right]">
            &nbsp;
    <!--
      NEW HEADER &amp; NAVBAR

      Now that the nav buttons are in the
      navbar template, you can stick whatever
      you like into this space.

      This makes it much easier for novice
      admins to customize their header
      template without affecting important
      navigation elements.
    -->
        </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    <!-- /logo -->
    And replace it with this:
    HTML Code:
    <!-- logo -->
    <a name="top"></a>
    <table border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">
    <tr>
        <td align="$stylevar[left]"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php?$session[sessionurl]"><center><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></center></a></td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    <!-- /logo -->

          Remove the code that I've highlighted in red:

          Code:
          <!-- logo -->
          <a name="top"></a>
          <table width="80%" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="wrapper">
          <tr>
          <td class="headerwrap"><table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="48" cellpadding="0">
          <tr>
          <td class="logowrap"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]"><img src="http://www.people-exchange.co.uk/forumlogo2.PNG" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" width="500" height="180"></a></td>
          <td valign="top">&nbsp;</td>
          </tr>
          </table></td>
          </tr>
          <tr>

            If you post your whole header teplate, that would be much better.

              Not necessary, now that I pointed out where to fix it.
