Signatures only showing on current/future posts.

Hi all

When a user joins, creates a few posts, then decides to put up a signature (be it text or an image), for some reason it only shows on new posts they make, not existing ones

Is this...normal? or is there a setting I need to adjust to change it?

Posts made when the user had no signature will not be updated unless they edit the posts and check "Show Signature" box.

However posts made with an old signature will be updated to the new signature.
