    Which is your user ID? Delete the rest.

    Such as:
    $config['SpecialUsers']['superadministrators'] = '1'

      Ok, I know I'm not a geek, but seriously, I have no idea what you are talking about.

      I don't see any user names there & as I said, I don't even see my own which is "Michelle"

      His is macklove74232

      Do you see either of those there?

      Maybe it's just b/c I can't even focus I'm soooo tired.

      I'll come back & see what you have to say in about 8-10 hours.

      Thanks

          Ok, so here's what I deleted.... $config['SpecialUsers']['superadministrators'] = '1';

          But I want to learn how you found my name in that file when I can't see it anywhere.

          Did you just assume I was #1? I doubt it b/c you also found my 2nd user name & I don't see that anywhere either.

          Please explain so I learn.

          Thank you

              Ok, but I have 2 sites with VB on them, the one in question isn't related to my user name here, it's a totally different site/forum.

              I still don't understand how you know I'm #1, who's #2, etc.

              Very confused. Please explain in detail since I have no idea how these things work.

              Thank you

                  I don't understand why you can't just tell me in detail what you are talking about instead of giving me URLs & expecting me to find it myself when I have no idea what I'm looking for.

                  Not to mention the URL you inserted is broken.

                  Can someone else help me pls.

                      After reaching out to one of my staffers who didn't help much, but explained a bit more, my hosting company gave me instructions on how to do all of this thru CPanel which is much easier than using the config file which did NOT list the number of the person I needed to delete.

                      They also explained a few things to me which cleared up anything I didn't understand, although there was one entry there as an admin that was empty & no one has been able to explain that one.

                      I'm posting this here so if anyone else needs help, I have the instructions in a word doc. I'm also willing to give you a brief lowdown on what I know so you don't have to go thru what I went through.

                      Thanks & take care

                        First, my hosting company helped me to find the config file, but it wasn't under the path above, it was in one of the few folders I saw called "includes".

                        So I moved it to my computer, opened it in notepad & I don't even see myself listed as an admin, let alone him or anyone else.

                        I'm pasting what I see...

                        It will not show your username but your userid

                        ==========================

                        // ****** SUPER ADMINISTRATORS ******
                        // The users specified below will have permission to

                        ==================================

                        Check your userid and then make sure that only your userid is included here

                        administrators
                        $config['SpecialUsers']['superadministrators'] = '1,2,3,4';

                        For example if your userid is "1" it should be

                        administrators
                        $config['SpecialUsers']['superadministrators'] = '1';

                        Remove the rest and now you just login to your admin panel and change the usergroup for that admin to a normal user.
