Attached images wrong size

Hi,

I have my attachment manager to display gif images at 900x700 but when I upload some images at 800*600 it still shrinks them down to odd sizes, one at 491*361 and the other 452x339.

Have I the settings wrong? where else do I look to change?

Check the allowed filesize. If the filesize exceeds that many bytes, the image will be resized -- regardless of dimensions.
