Avatar/Photo Issue

Is there a way within the Admin panel to implement user photos (like Facebook) instead of an avatar when a member posts to the forum? I'm wanting to use pictures/photos as an option instead of simply using avatars.

Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

Steve--thanks for the response--I'll check into it--if I use a modification on my forum, does that mean I'm no longer eligible for any official support or just support regarding the modification?

That depends on what the support issue is. If it's something that normally does not occur with the default vB you may be asked to remove or disable your add-ons to troubleshoot this.
