    another installation question.

    Ok i apologise in advance if there is the answer to my question somewhere as ive been trying to sort this for 2 days!
    Anyway i have downloaded vbulletin, edited the scripts in config.php , Uploaded the files to my website and i can get as far as

    .

    I have created a new database, user, password but still cannot get the bloody thing to work, any help would be most appreciated

    Might want to verify with your hosting provider to see if you need to change a host or something. Also, it appears that your password is not entered into config.php as it says the connection is not using a password.

      ok i have removed it all and started again, i have not changed any details yet, if anyone can help me install it i will provide my login details etc?

        The most likely cause of this error is that the info in your config.php file is wrong or your db user does not have full permissions to this database. Please read this for all the known causes of this error:
