  • MySQL Error : The table 'attachment' is full

    Hi

    Since upgrading into 3.8.0 and above we are facing attachment problems.

    I got an error message containing this:

    Database error in vBulletin 3.8.3:

    Invalid SQL:
    INSERT INTO attachment
    (dateline, thumbnail_dateline, visible, userid, extension, filename, posthash, filehash, filesize, filedata)
    VALUES
    ----------------------------------------

    MySQL Error : The table 'attachment' is full
    Error Number : 1114

        I believe MyISAM has a default 4 GB limit.

        Considering the size of your attachment table you should seriously consider moving the attachments to the filesystem anyway.
