  • Update frequency of "New Posts Today" in ACP

    Hi,

I have tried to find results with the searching function but didn't succeed yet.

What I would like to know is if there is any chance to take influence on the interval the "New Posts Today" get updated in the ACP ("Welcome to the vB ACP" bit)? So far I couldn't figure out which task is responsible for that and how to accelerate this time interval.

    Is it possible at all?

    Thank you very much!

New posts means exactly that. There is no interval. It's based on new posts for the user that is running this.

Thanks Steve, but I am afraid I don't get your reply (maybe my english).

I was referring to the New Posts today in the ACP (as attached to this post). This is showing currently e.g. 110 posts today and in like one or two hours it will be showing let's say 182... And after midnight the last day's total.

This is based on new posts for the user who is running this, so me as an admin?

I just wanted to know if I can take influence on the updating time, it seems it is showing the recent number of posts like every two or three hours. Can I change that somehow, get the latest total number of posts more often?

      Thanks a lot!

Ahhh...that's based on a 24 hour period and is updated once per day - midnight server time.
