  • Problem with Quick Reply

    I use the Quick Reply add-on for my VB forum. When I activate it by clicking a button and type a message it posts as:

    Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply.

    Instead of what I typed. Any idea what could be causing this?

    Create a new style with no parent:
    • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
    • Parent Style: No Parent Style
    • Title: Default vBulletin
    • Allow User Selection: Yes
    • Save

    Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

    If it is still happening - Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
    Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

    PHP Code:
    define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);

    If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

      I don't have this problem when using the VBulleting default style. Any idea why this happens with the other style?

        If it isn't happening with the default style, then that means you have something wrong in your style. I would go through each of the modified templates on that page and see what the differences are between yours and Jelsofts - go into debug mode to get a list of the templates and then go to edit one, hit View History, then compare to see the differences.
