Would it be possible to copy the registered usergroup to registered2.
Then change the permissions for registered so no one can post.
Then when someone does a paid subscription, they are placed in registered2 automatically.

IMHO, you are going to kill your forum with a paid only approach.

    Hi,

Due to lots of trolling and abuse we have banned all sign up's via free email accounts (hotmail etc). This has dramatically reduced the abuse.

However, we get quite a few complaints. Would there be a way of charging people a small fee (£5) to sign up with a free email account - would this come out of the box with vB 3.8? Or any other suggestions to verify its not a dupe account or troll?

    Thanks
