Hi all, currently we use forum_link.gif for the image for a forum, can we use .ico? if so is it complicated? (i have some images that are .ico that i would like to use)

How to use .ico instead of .gif for this forum_link.gif?

I don't believe all modern browsers support iso. Its likely in your best intrests to get it into a better format.

You would need to edit the template so that it is calling the image properly.Translations provided by Google.

Gents, thanks for the replies, could someone tell me which template to edit?, in my forum manager i edit a forum and can put an image prefix i.e excel, i then have a statusicon excelforum_new.gif, somewhere in the software it is being told to look for either the whole name of forum_new.gif or the extension .gif, if i knew where to look for either of these i would be able to change that no problem......i have enough queries going on without adding to them with a replacement variable, thanks anyway.

forumhome_forumbit_levelX_post and forumhome_forumbit_levelX_nopost templates would need to be edited.Translations provided by Google.
