  • Paid Subscriptions not reverting back to default

I have been using paid subscriptions for a few years now, but i have noticed at times the users do not revert back to default, They are still the user group they purchased. Im unsure of what to do if anyone could help me ty for your time.

    Are their subscriptions expired?

Admin CP -> Paid Subscriptions -> Subscription Manager

Note that subscription expirations are handled by a scheduled task:

Admin CP -> Scheduled Tasks -> Scheduled Task Manager -> Subscriptions

By default this runs once per day. The task system is driven by page loads. If your forum isn't very active for a period of time then the tasks might be delayed.

Also make sure your forum URL is correct because that is used to call the tasks:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details -> Forum URL

And try reverting your footer template because it contains code that drives the task system:

Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> Common Templates (in the menu) -> footer

Or maybe you were manually adding users to the paid group before you setup subscriptions. That would result in the user expiring back into the same paid group since it records their previous group memberships.

yes there subscriptions are now over and they are still getting forum access untill i see it,and manually fix the problem.

i have tried this step Admin CP -> Scheduled Tasks -> Scheduled Task Manager -> Subscriptions ,and ran this. All it does is say "Done" as fast as i ran it( not sure if it did anything ). There Usergroup didn't change.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details -> Forum URL

      My forum url is "http://www.dxtgaming.com"
      my forums are in
      "http://www.dxtgaming.com/forums"

and i will revert my footer as i had some images in there.

      Thanks for the reply.

        My forum url is "http://www.dxtgaming.com"
        my forums are in "http://www.dxtgaming.com/forums"
Then your forum URL should be:

        http://www.dxtgaming.com/forums
