  • Export a single users post history

We recently had a prolific and insightful poster, and long time friend, pass away due to a heart attack. I've had a lot of calls to somehow provide that users posting history (much of it research) on a disc, etc.

Is there any way to do such a thing?

There is no way to easily export a single user's history within the interfaces of vBulletin. You could pull them via a MySQL query something like:
    Code:
SELECT username, pagetext_html FROM post LEFT JOIN (postparsed) ON (poost.postid=postparsed.postid) WHERE userid = XXX
Replace XXX with his userid. That should get you the HTML formatted versions of his posts. You could then format them as you wish.

    My condolences on your loss.

      Did you mean:

SELECT username, pagetext_html FROM post LEFT JOIN (postparsed) ON (post.postid=postparsed.postid) WHERE userid = XXX

      (post.postid not poost.postid)
